There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family. Candace has been my soul sister for 15 years and it is a privilege to be her Maid of Honor. We met in 6th grade and she was the very first person to make me feel welcomed in a new school. In high school we participated in the same activities, and I’ll even admit it- I joined band so that way I’d be able to spend more time with her, hehe. I got to (finally) meet Kevin when I visited Norte Dame one year. Turns out we’re from the same Chicago neighborhood! I am honored to serve, to help, to witness and to play an important part of such a special day. Made of Honor for a Day; Best Friends for Life <3

"Kevin and I met in the third grade. Although, we might have met earlier with his father being a known Korean news anchor at the time. My parents must have seen that we were both attending the same school. Eventually, we would end up going to the same church for CCD and Korean school."

"Candace and I have been friends since freshman year of high school! We were in all of the same activities, and were even co-drum majors of the marching band together! After college graduation Candace AND Kevin left snowy South Bend, IN and set their sights on sunny Austin, TX. And guess what - we all got an apartment together (oh my god they were roommates). I got to spent two years as an official third wheel living with Candace and Kevin! I’ll forever be amazed how any two people can be as ‘laid back’ and ‘easy going’ than these two! So happy to be able to celebrate this next chapter of their lives with them!"

"I first met Kevin and Candace at band tryouts our freshman year at Notre Dame. Meeting Candace first, we quickly found out we were both from Texas and became fast friends. During the cold months and overabundance of Northern idioms, we stood fast in our friendship and love for all things Texas. Kevin on the other hand was not as well known to me, but that would quickly change. As the first semester went on, I began to know Kevin as a true friend and a shining light at Notre Dame. That's why I was proud to become part of the inaugural congregation of the church of Kevinly (please see our promotional material for more information). Kevin and Candace were always great friends to me during our time at Notre Dame and after, and I am so excited to be a part of their special day! Love you guys!"

I have been friends with Candace since middle school band. We have had lots of adventures from the many band trips across the U.S. to getting lost in Europe. We have stayed friends through college and our busy lives. She is one of the most caring and fun souls I have met and I’m glad she and Kevin have found each other.

"I met Candace our first year of law school, we were in the same section (Section A woo!). I was very shy and had trouble talking to people, but the second I met Candace it felt like I had known her for years. I am not exactly sure how it happened, but after we started studying together we never stopped hanging out. I am forever honored to have Candace in my life - she is the most hardworking, kind, and selfless person I know. I consider her my sister and I am so grateful our paths crossed."

Kevin and I met when we were kids at our church. We grew up there throughout high school and during that time, he was a good friend as well as a good mentor to me. He has always given me good advice and won't hesitate to help me if I need it. Even though I don't see Kevin as much as I used to, the times I do always remind me that he truly is a friend for life.
