Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

With our long stints in academia and transient careers, we haven't found the opportunity to settle down just yet. Your thoughtfulness in considering a gift means the world to us, and we are truly grateful for your generosity. Instead of traditional gifts, we are saving diligently towards our dream of owning a home. Any contributions would be deeply appreciated and will help us take the next step in our journey together.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Suit & tie for the men; tea-length/knee-length for the ladies Don't forget to pack these two wedding essentials: sunglasses to shield your eyes from our radiant love and a light jacket to keep your hearts warm during the evening festivities!

Question

Do I need a rental car in Sorrento?

Answer

While you can opt for a rental car, it is not necessary nor do we recommend this option, particularly within the town itself. Sorrento has a compact and walkable city center, and its narrow streets and limited parking spaces can make driving more of a hassle than a benefit. Additionally, the region is known for its winding and narrow coastal roads, which can be challenging to navigate, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. Therefore, relying on local services often proves to be a more stress-free and enjoyable way to explore this picturesque region.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We look forward to an intimate gathering of our closest family and friends. We kindly request that only those who are named on the invitation join us. If you're travelling with other companions, feel free to bring them to the other festivities!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We understand that many of our guests have little ones they'd love to bring to our wedding celebration. And we love your kids - we really do! However, we want our wedding to be yours (and our) night off. If you're travelling with your children, they are more than welcome to join you at any of the other festivities (e.g., the welcome dinner).

Question

Do I have to attend the other wedding festivities?

Answer

We'd of course love to have you join us for all the wedding festivities (please see our Itinerary tab for more information)! However, we understand that each guest's schedule is as unique as they are! So, you're welcome to choose the events that tickle your fancy, and we'll be thrilled to see you whenever you can make it!

Question

What is the dress code for other wedding festivities?

Answer

Smart casual/Casual Chic - stylish, comfortable attire Ties not required, but jeans, shorts, and flip-flops are best avoided.

Question

Are there hair and makeup options?

Answer

Yes! The salon recommended by the hotel is called Gio Parrucchieri Sant’Agnello. Prices can be found and reservations can be made at: https://www.treatwell.it/salone/gio-parrucchieri-santagnello/
