Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The wedding venue is located 23 miles southwest of Denver down Interstate 285. Deer Creek Mountain Camp at: 228 South Pine Drive Bailey, CO 80421

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Transportation to the venue is not provided. Options such as Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, National, Thrifty, or Hertz located at the Denver International Airport. Ubers and Lyfts don't venture to the mountains too often!

Is there transportation from off-site lodging to the venue?

Answer

No group transportation will be available if you choose to stay off-site. The venue recommends a local Uber driver that has provided transportation for wedding guests to and from their off-site lodging. We will provide all guests with the contact information of that driver upon your arrival.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you'll be joining us for the weekend, check-in begins at 4:30 PM with dinner at 6:00 PM on Friday June 7th 2024 If you'll just be coming for the wedding, we ask you arrive for the ceremony by 4:15 PM on Saturday June 8th 2024 If you stay with us Saturday night, please make sure to check out of the venue by 10:00 AM Sunday June 9th 2024 If you have any additional questions related to weekend timeline please visit the "Schedule" tab on our website.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask you dress semi-formal for the ceremony but encourage clothing that makes you comfortable for rest of the weekend. All venue terrain is predominately grass, gravel, and dirt.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 27th 2024. You can mail back the RSVP slip that was included with your formal invitation or you can visit the RSVP tab of this website to reply virtually. If we don't hear from you by April 27th we'll assume you're unable to attend and we look forward to celebrating with you in the future.

What's the weather like?

Answer

Average temperatures in the June mountains range between mid-70's and low-50s. Wind is prominent and afternoon rain showers are not uncommon. Pack warm clothing for the evenings. Don't forget your sunscreen for camp!

What do I need to bring if I'm staying in the on-site cabins?

Answer

For our on-site guests in cabins please pack your own twin size bedding and pillow. The cabins are heated, so no heavy bedding required. We have provided two locations that are on the way to the venue just off the interstate from the Denver airport to acquire them if need be: Target- 5071 Kipling St Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 Walmart Supercenter- 5957 W 44th Ave Denver, CO 80212 If you are unable to take your bedding home with you please leave it on your bunk for donation to a local charity.

Where should guests park?

Answer

Check in at the main lodge for further wedding weekend details. After you get settled, park you car in the big lot near the entrance of the property.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If a plus one is included for guests that will be noted on your individual invitation.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! All major event areas are wheelchair accessible including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception buildings. The only buildings that are not wheelchair accessible are the A-frame lodging cabins and the game room.
