The wedding will be outdoors and with that comes all of the beauty and unpredictability of mother nature. It may be hot, it may be muddy, and it may rain--so please wear what you will feel comfortable in. High heels may sink into the grass and a full suit may be too hot if it's 95 degrees so feel free to ditch the heels and wear something a bit more airy.
There is extremely limited parking at the venue which will be reserved for those staying overnight on the Camp ground. For day-of guests, we will have a shuttle service picking guests up at the resort and at Tibbets Elementary School Parking Lot by the venue (see the "Parking & Where to Stay" tab for more details).
We would like to do things a bit differently at Camp. We are aiming for a casual wedding where people are free to explore Camp Wandawega and have fun in the ways that best suit them. Are you a nature lover? Before the ceremony or after dinner, you may want to take a nature walk around Camp to see the woods and the lake. Are you competitive? Grab some people around you and start a bags tournament on the lawn. Are you more of a quiet type? We'll have some cards and board games you can dive into. Sure, we'll have some goal posts to mark the way (ceremony at 4pm, you can grab some dinner starting at 6:00pm, etc), otherwise, we want your Camp experience to be a "choose your own adventure".
We're doing this thing rain or shine! Besides, rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, right? If mother nature decides to pour its heart out on us, we will have a large rented tent where we can keep everyone dry and comfortable. (Please do keep your fingers crossed for nice weather).
