CAMPING?! BUT I'M AFRAID OF THE OUTDOORS!

Answer

No need to be afraid, we will be anything but roughing it! Camp Sylvester is a beautiful modern camp with recently renovated and well appointed cabins and other camp facilities. The communal cabins are all built like modern homes, sealed from the elements and heated to keep you warm in the coolest hours of the brisk October nights.

Beautiful scenery - time with us and friends and family - food and drinks - games and activities - campfires - music for dancing and more!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Answer

Other than your smile for pictures and a summer camp spirit we recommend bringing the following: * Comfortable and warm layered clothing to wear around camp. * Cocktail wedding attire. * Sleeping bag and pillow, or bedding for a twin bed. If you don't have a sleeping bag, contact us we have extras we can bring for you, or if you prefer you can rent one from your local REI. * Shower towel. * Toiletry items you can't live without.

I CAN'T STAY FOR CAMP BUT WANT TO BE THERE FOR YOUR WEDDING, CAN I STILL COME?

Answer

Absolutely! Just let us know that you will only be attending only the ceremony and celebration, as you are not staying with us there is no cost.

I WANT TO COME UP FOR THE WEEKEND BUT I AM UNCOMFORTABLE LODGING AT THE CAMP, WHAT CAN I DO?

Answer

While we would love for you to relive childhood camp memories with us we know you will have more fun if you are comfortable where you are staying. There are a few hotels/motels within a 20 mile radius of Camp Sylvester that you may find yourself more comfortable in. If you are planning on staying offsite we would love to still have you present for meals and activities. Contact us and we will work something out.
