Maid of Honor
My little sister and partner in crime. Her heart is fierce and her love is strong. I knew that Claire was stuck with me from the moment I literally put stickers all over her face as an infant, to that time she conveniently also decided to go to college in Alabama (Roar Lions, ammi right?). She is my loudest cheerleader so I had to keep her close for this special day.
Best Man
Growing up David was my brother and best friend in one. We shared a lot of first times together, and he'll be by my side for the most important one.
Matron of Honor
Grace and I have experienced a lot of life together since we met our freshman year at UA. If there is one word to describe her, it would be faithful. She sharpens me daily while also making me laugh till I pee. I am so grateful to have her in my life and by my side in May. (Also pretty crazy that she is a MATRON now and will be celebrating ONE YEAR OF MARRIAGE to Koby on April 6th!)
Groomsman
Daniel and I are cousins and friends. There are so many childhood memories that come to mind when I think of him. It's always so easy to catch up with him over a board game.
Bridesmaid
I have known this precious gal for the shortest amount of time, and yet she has made such a big impact in my life and in my walk with Jesus. Currently my roommate and definitely set to be a long time pen pal, she is a creator of incredible art and the best listener an external processor could ask for.
Groomsman
Micah has been a friend and brother of mine since freshman year. Its been fun exploring music and our faiths together. His faith and obedience to the Lord have continually challenged me.
Bridesmaid
I met this soul sister my freshman year and cannot imagine life without her. You will more than likely find the two of us laying on the floor asking deep questions about the heart of God. I lead a discipleship group with her this year and it has been the grandest adventure, so naturally I had to bring her along for this one too!
Groomsman
Aiden was in the discipleship group I co-led my sophomore year. He leads his own group now, but this year I have had the pleasure of sharing a room with him. We have been on a lot of adventures together, so of course I want him here for the start of this one.
Bridesmaid
If you knew me growing up, then you knew Liz. Affectionately known as my "second cousin twice removed," we have gotten to celebrate so much life together. Thanksgiving traditions, dance recitals, birthdays, graduation, and then her wedding back in December! She is a joy to be around and a friend to lean on.
Groomsman
Kyle is one of those people that I just have to thank the Lord every time I think of him. We attended our first Chi Alpha service together, and next year we'll be interning there together.
Flower Girls
These two became a part of my life through a volunteer babysitter program my freshman year. After the first time I babysat, the King's knew they were stuck with "Cousin Maggie Too Cute" forever. These two make my life fun and full of wonder! I am so glad I will get to spend this important day with my Alabama family.
Usher
This handsome face will be greeting you the day of the ceremony! Sam is my older brother and I am so grateful for his generous heart. He has always been a big help and I am so glad he will be a part of this day.
Ring Bearer
Bubbas!! This little guy might just steal the show. His parents, Lisa and Michael, have brought so much joy into Maggie and Joey's life. There was no question as to who needed to have this special role on this special day.
Officiant
He's not actually a "Dr. Rev." I think, but he is a brother, he does have credentials and he's our friend so he got the job. Plus also we love him and he's cool.
The Crew
These two goobers are my housemates and friends. They have been so hands-on in the process of planning that they had to get a special section on the website. I love them deeply and am so grateful for how they hype me up and keep me humble. You'll see them by the guestbook on May 23rd!
