Question

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Answer

We'd love you to join us for the weekend at camp - check out the "Stay" tab to see accommodations. You're absolutely welcome to stay both nights (Friday and Saturday) or just Saturday if that works best for you. Once we have an idea of who is bunking up at camp, we will coordinate cabin assignments and find a great place for everyone to stay. There is a ton of space, so everyone who wants to stay, can! We will let you know exactly where you're staying at check-in on Friday 6/7. Many cabins will be shared, but we will make sure you are with friends or family. There is no cost to stay at camp. Cabin life not really your style? No worries! There are plenty of other accommodations nearby - check out the "Stay" tab for some ideas.

Question

I'M STAYING AT CAMP - WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Answer

All cabins have electricity, hot water, toilets, and showers. There is NO heating or AC in the cabins, so would be good to have some layers or warm clothes in case it gets chilly. Other than that, just bring what you'd normally need for a fun, safe weekend on the lake (sunscreen, beach towel, bug spray, lawn games, flashlight if you want, extra blanket for the bonfire, etc.)! Linens will be provided unless you indicate in your RSVP that you would prefer to bring your own.

Question

I CAN ONLY MAKE IT SATURDAY, IS THAT OKAY?

Answer

Absolutely! Saturday is the *big day* so we would love for you to join us then.

Question

I'M NOT STAYING AT CAMP - WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO BE THERE?

Answer

On Saturday for the ceremony, please be around a little before we get started - lets say by 4:15pm. Even if you're staying elsewhere - we would love you to hang at camp whenever you can! Please feel free to come Friday for dinner or just to hang after, or come over Saturday during the day for some fun!

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We LOVE kids, and yes, this is a kids camp... but we'd love for this weekend to be your time off, so please keep the little ones at home! Feel free just to join us for Saturday if that is easier!

Question

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?

Answer

We will be providing beverages for the main events. However, camp is BYOB— so all are welcome to store any drinks (alcoholic and non) and snacks you want in your cabin as well!

Question

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION?

Answer

Camp Mataponi has plenty of parking and you will be able to leave your car at camp all weekend. Camp Staff will be available to help load/unload.

For all the days along the way
