This national park is worth the trip out - there's tons of hikes, rock formations, and beautiful landscapes to take in.

Joshua Tree National Park

Del Rey, the bar at this hotel, has great cocktails and vibes

Villa Royale

Beautiful garden with tons of plants (many cacti). Entrance is $5 for adults and $2 for kids.

Moorten Botanical Garden

Cute outdoor Italian restaurant. We like the pizza (Neapolitan style). Reservations recommended.

Birba

Palm Greens Cafe

Dessert spot with ice cream, dole whip, and delicious date shakes (including a vegan version) with dates grown in Coachella Valley. Getting a date shake is really a must while you're here.

Lappert's

Western live music and BBQ in a place called "Pioneertown", on the way to Joshua Tree. Bring your leather vests!

Pappy + Harriet's

For views, hikes, and cooler temps, take the tram (and a jacket) up to 8,500 feet in elevation.
