Our journey began in September 2016 at Worcester State University, where fate brought us together in a macroeconomics class. Shane, a transfer from Assumption University, and Camille, embarking on her first year of college, were both navigating new experiences. Camille couldn’t help but notice Shane’s lingering glances in class, a detail she’ll never let him forget! As the term progressed, Camille accidentally wandered into Shane’s class one day. Seizing the opportunity, Shane approached her with a confident, “How was your break?” That simple gesture marked the beginning of something truly special. Despite Camille’s occasional class absences to spend time with Shane (oops!), our bond deepened, and by May 2017, we were officially a couple. Our love continued to grow as we moved into our first apartment in July 2019 and took a big step in 2020 by purchasing a home together. This house, once Camille’s grandparents’, became even more meaningful with the love and care contributed by Shane’s late grandfather and his family. In June 2022, in the cozy comfort of our cherished home, Shane surprised Camille with a heartfelt proposal. We are excited to start this new chapter in our lives, surrounded by the love and support of our dear family and friends.
