We're getting Married!

Talk about a crazy start to a 2020! Starting with Kobe Bryant passing in January to the rise of Covid-19 in February, followed by Tyler going to Senior Leadership Course (SLC) in March and then my Health Service Admin (HSA) military course getting canceled on the day before I was supposed to leave! Some of you may not know this, but Tyler and I met through Instagram. In March I noticed us at commando around the same time... creeper, yes I know! On March 16th Tyler had posted a story on the stair master, which I love and do religiously (when commando is open - darn Covid). So what did I do, the only thing to do, shoot my shot and slid into his direct messages (DMs). Yes, you heard that right I DMd Tyler talking smack about his stair workout! It took two days of constant DMing over insta before Tyler finally asked for my number where I replied "finally I am over staying on insta all day to DM you!" haha. We were in different locations for three weeks, which allowed us to text and FaceTime A LOTTT. This allowed us to really get to know each other before we finally met in person on April 4, 2020! That day was so nerve racking, yet so exciting it felt like we had know each other forever. From that day forth let's just say we have only spent time apart if it was work mandated! haha. We wouldn't change a thing about our story because it has lead us to where we are today!

After a typical weekend game night with my parents Tyler mentioned to me we had to leave the house by 0845 the next day! The next morning I got ready with the outfit Tyler picked and was ready by 0845. I still had no clue where or what we were doing, but we just started driving. It wasn't until we got to the airport that I realized we were going skydiving. I have always wanted to go skydiving, so I was super excited and couldn't imagine the day getting any better! Well, he had other stuff planned for me. He jumped first followed by me, which means he landed first. I was just having a grand ole time and wasn't really paying attention to much besides just taking in the moment! It wasn't until getting ready to land that I saw the heart on the ground and Tyler standing in the middle of it! Tyler got on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said "yes". Tyler had my parents there as well as a photographer! Talk about a picture perfect moment because that was one! He did such an amazing job and made September 6, 2020 a day that will forever be cherished!
