We met on hinge, but our first date was on St Patrick's Day. Shane planned a classy date- we met at Lido House in Newport Beach for drinks. After we both decided we liked eachother enough to have one more drink, we headed to Muldoons- an irish pub- which is much more our speed. We both knew immediately that this was something special and went out on another date just a few days later.

On August 5th, Shane told me we were going to dinner to celebrate his sister Molly's work accomplishment at a cute new restaurant in Seal Beach. He was so nonchalant that day and did not seem nervous at all so i didn't really suspect anything. However, when we drove to the "restaurant" we parked in a neighborhood which made me start to catch on.. we then walked out to the sand and Shane had set up a ton of white roses and candles and champagne and popped the question! I tackled him immediately in a huge hug and of course said yes! He then surprised me by having our families waiting at a local restaurant to have dinner and celebrate. We ended the night at our favorite local bar, Rackhouse, with friends and we still say it was our favorite day ever!
