Are we going to get rained on?

Answer

Hopefully not! We have a few tents that will be setup and access to the barn, primarily for the reception. Consider bringing an umbrella for spotty/light showers during the ceremony or to stay dry from the parking area to the wedding area. If you're helping setup, staying to camp, etc. consider bringing a rain jacket.

What is the suggested attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire w/ shoes that can walk on grass, driveway gravel, patio, and wood floor. For gals: Cocktail or midi dress, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, maybe a light layer. For guys: Short or long sleeve button down and slacks or casual dress pants, sport/suit coat optional.

What if I'm camping, but need a place to get ready?

Answer

Ask friends and family if they're thinking the same and considering splitting a room or rental with them.

What touristy things should we do?

Answer

Take a ferry to Mount Desert Island (MDI) to check out the National Park, Acadia! Rent bikes and tour Bar Harbor on the carriage roads! Eat a lobster roll! Go on a puffin or whale tour!
