Camia + Aziz

We met in our 11th-grade English class. We hadn't really spoken to each other before, but a mutual friend suggested that it would be cute if we dated. That didn't happen; however, we did decide it would be fun to go to 11th-grade prom together as friends. We went and had a good time together, but after that, we drifted away from each other. We dated other people during our 12th-grade year, then came freshman year of college, and we went to different schools. One random day just a few days before Thanksgiving, Aziz reached out, and we started talking again. It was a natural connection and friendship that turned into a first date, and then a month later, we became official. Four years later, that connection and friendship are still there, strengthening our romantic relationship.
