What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal wear. Please note that Duke Chapel is heated but can get drafty (especially in January)- if you get chilly easily, please dress accordingly.

For ladies, this could be a cocktail dress. For gentlemen, a suit jacket or blazer with dress pants.

Will there be transportation to and from the venues?

Answer

For guests staying at the hotel, a bus will take you to Duke Chapel and then from the Chapel to the NC State University Club for the reception. Please RSVP ahead of time to let us know if you will need the bus from the hotel. There will also be a return trip back to the hotel at the end of the reception.

Can we bring the kids?

Unfortunately, we ask that children are not brought to the Ceremony or Reception. If you need childcare, please contact Cameron, thanks!

Where can I park?

Answer

Duke Chapel: Please drive up to the Chapel and tell the attendant you are attending the Smith/Figuers wedding. If no more spaces are available, please park in the nearby Bryan Center Parking Deck. NC State University Club: There is plenty of parking available at the NC State University club. Follow the club entrance and you will see multiple lots near the club where you can park.
