We're getting married!

The day Cameron moved down to Palm City, he ran into Megan’s room to show her the prize possession he brought with him on his move down, the gorgeous ring. Cameron needed Megan’s approval. Megan of course was ready to start planning the proposal. She said, “There’s no way you are proposing with that plain ring box.” She insisted on paying half with Cameron on a crystal ring box. Cameron then asked Kelly's Dad for her hand in marriage. Cameron planned the proposal with Kelly's Mom and sister, Megan. Kelly was completely surprised when Cameron got down on one knee on July 8th, 2023, in Hinton, WV at her favorite place Sandstone Falls. How the day went… We were getting ready to go to the falls and I was told to wear something nice for the yearly scrapbook pictures. As I put on what I thought was nice, I was told I look like I was wearing a swimsuit. My stubborn self still kept it on because I just got it and all I knew was we were going on a hike. I’m pretty sure everyone tried to convince me to change, but that didn’t happen. We went to the Market and picked up sandwiches in downtown Hinton before we began our drive to the Falls. On the drive, Megan and Cameron were texting one another unbeknownst to me. Cameron said, “I think she knows.” Megan says, “Have you seen what she’s wearing? She doesn’t know.” We drove to Sandstone Falls and had a picnic at the tables. We do this yearly. Cameron could not eat the food he ordered, but that still did not make me suspicious of anything. We started our walk to the falls and took pictures along the way. Cameron wanted to see what pictures had the best lighting and didn’t throw a fit when I wanted to get pictures taken. We finally made it to the falls and I was looking towards them when my mom said to turn around and get a picture. This is when I saw Cameron down on one knee. He was speechless. I knew he was down on one knee, which meant something, however the sparkly crystal the ring was in made it hard to see a ring. I finally asked Cameron if he was serious! He then said, Yes, Will you marry me? Of course, I said yes. The rest is history! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Jupiter!
