We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Well, we got hitched! After 11 years we decided it was time! There will be no formal wedding but we hope any and all can help us celebrate with a reception/party come Summer 2022! 💕 On their anniversary date, Cameron and Tanner returned to their old stomping grounds in Governor's Park, Denver, Colorado to sign their Marriage Certificate and make it official. When Cameron and Tanner started dating in the summer of 2010, Cameron lived just down the street from Governor's Park and Tanner was new to Denver. One of their first dates ended by taking a late night stroll through Governor's Park. They found themselves sitting on a park bench behind the Governor's Mansion where they sat and shared stories and kisses. 💜 Cameron and Tanner agreed it would be appropriate to return to this special park bench to exchange rings and solidify their commitment to each other. During their exchange, a kind old man was sitting on the bench reading a newspaper. Their wedding photographer (thank you Adrian and Emilee) politely asked the man to give up his seat on the bench in exchange for a rose. He politely agreed and they shared a picture perfect moment, becoming Husband and Husband! 🌹

💒 Both Tanner and Cameron were recent college grads. Tanner was new to Colorado, and Cameron was new to Denver. They met at the library and the rest was history. (If you're our parents or our grandparents, you can stop reading now.) 📚 Everyone else, please continue. 😜 Okay, so Cameron had girlfriends convince him to go out dancing at the local gay club, Tracks. Even though he was hesitant, he obliged and went out for a night on the town. Tanner had a friend visiting from Texas that same weekend and they had decided to have a wild night out, drinking and dancing at a club larger than either had ever visited. Cameron noticed Tanner first and, with the courage and support of his girlfriends, approached Tanner for a dance. They hit it off, danced together until the club turned on the lights, exchanged phone numbers, and went home for the night. They went on their first official date the next week at Taste of Colorado, an annual event in Denver, (Tanner managed to get a parking ticket on their first date) and the rest is actual history! 👍🏼
