Newark Airport

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is 15-20 minutes from downtown Jersey City by car. It’s also a short ride away on the PATH and NJ Transit.

Train

PATH

Jersey City is a quick PATH ride from Manhattan on either the Newark-WTC or Journal Square-33 St. lines. The Grove Street station is a block away from our wedding venue, Porta. Note: Due to construction, New York-bound trains won't be stopping at Grove Street over the weekend. After the event, you'll need to either take the train from Grove Street to Journal Square and then hop on a train bound for the city, or walk to the Exchange Street stop for a city-bound train.

Parking

Street parking can be difficult in downtown Jersey City, especially on weekends, so you may have to park in a surrounding neighborhood and walk to the venue. There are also paid parking garages and lots within walking distance in the area.

There are plenty of hotels in downtown Jersey City and in the Paulus Hook and Newport neighborhoods along the waterfront.
