Cam and Alex met back in 2016 while in their Calculus III class at Saint Michael's College. Their relationship started off when Alex forced a friendship upon Cam in order to get answers to her math homework. After many Alliot dates before and after classes, their relationship blossomed into something more for Cam, and he had a plan; he copied Alex’s entire schedule their senior year so that they could take all of their classes together. Thankfully, they had the same double major so it wasn’t too difficult. In time, Cam's roommates learned of his crush. As friends do, they took every opportunity possible to embarrass him in front of Alex and her friends. One day in particular, while Alex and her friends were on their way home from soccer practice, Cam and one of his roommates just so happened to be having a chicken nugget eating competition. Cam's roommate, Michael Burt, took full advantage of the opportunity, and invited Alex and her friends into their townhouse to see Cam in all of his chicken nugget eating glory. Everything changed for the two of them while partying in the 200s the second Saturday of their senior year. Cam was hanging out with his friends outside when Alex ran by and ignored/didn’t hear (depends who tells the story) Cam say “hi”. In classic friendship fashion, Cam's roommates got many laughs out of it. For one friend in particular, Mike Byrne, the laughs were followed by a simple look and a nudge. Thankfully, Alex and Cam’s mutual friend, Tyler Tolisano, was there to witness the exchange because it just so happened that he was the one and only person who knew that Alex, in fact, had a crush on Cam as well. Long story short, Tyler gave Cam all of the confidence he needed so that when Alex walked back by Cam, he made sure to get her attention. Finally, after a year of perfectly strung plans on Cam’s part, he invited Alex back to his townhouse that night for a game of beer pong. Fast forward about a month and Cam took Alex out on their first date to the movies. Despite Alex disliking going to the movies and Cam taking a short snooze at the end of the movie, they still had a great time. They had already developed a strong friendship and were ready to start their next chapter together dating. At the end of the summer after graduation, Alex and Cam decided to move in together. Of course, this was right in time for COVID to hit, forcing them to spend all of their time together. During that time, they truly learned how compatible they are. In July of 2022, Cam popped the question at Alex’s favorite place on earth, Small Point, Maine. They couldn't be happier to take this next step surrounded by the ones they love!
