Calvin and CH Chapin served together on the 1-125th Infantry Battalion to include their deployment to Sinai, Egypt in 2003-2004 in support of the Multinational Forces and Observers mission. They continued to serve together till CH Chapin retired from the Michigan Army National Guard in 2014.
