Maid of Honor
Sarah is Taylor's younger sister. These two used to fight like no other but soon realized that being friends was better for everyone. They say having a sister is getting a built in best friend but when you're younger and have your sibling stealing your clothes, shoes, and hair tools, it doesn't seem to fun. Then you grow up to realize that sharing clothes means more options and that its nice to have someone who you can talk to about anything anytime of the day cause they were right across the hall. Living in different states poses a barrier but these two remain close!
Best Man
Cory has been Dalton’s older brother since Dalton was born! While their interests differed growing up, Dalton going more toward sports and video games and Cory leaning toward fishing and HVAC, they continued to be close. They continue to be close even geographically as Taylor and Dalton bought a house less than 5 miles away. And lets just say Dalton is a lot less annoyed by Cory’s HVAC knowledge now!
Maid of Honor
Fun fact, Taylor disliked Sydney in elementary school due to Syd's boyfriend at the time. Then they actually met in seventh grade at volleyball. Taylor invited Syd over to the house and they were inseparable after that. From week long beach trips to three day sleepovers you could almost guarantee they were together. Even with close to a thousand miles between them they still remain best friends!
Groomsman
Just 2 kids from Grandview. One of the worst days of Caleb’s young life was when Dalton told him he was moving. They had lived on the same street since they were 2 and had been best friends for the past 8 years. Luckily the move was from 103 Grandview to 107… Bringing them even closer than before! The friendship never ended and there are many stories that can attest to that.
Bridesmaid
Dominique was Taylor's roommate her senior year at Slippery Rock! Dom and Taylor met through car pooling to a school placement when studying to be future educators. They soon became besties that did literally everything together including serving at the same bar! Anytime you seen one you more than likely seen the other!
Groomsman
Dalton walked into his 4th grade classroom and saw sets of 2 desks together. At the back of the room there was 1 set of 3 desks with his name in the middle. On the one side was a girl (ewh!) and on the other side a new kid, Christian Turner. Life would never be the same after that year of making up secret languages and sharing headphones to listen to Weird Al on his MP3 player at recess.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth, is not only a cousin but also a best friend. Liz used to hate hanging out with Taylor but they soon realized that cousins make the best friends. When they were younger, there were multiple times that they got called twins. From shopping trips, to car rides, to late night barn chores, these two spent a lot of time causing trouble!
Groomsman
A friendship built on miles of backroads, more beers than you can count, and hits (both from football and slap boxing) can’t be broken. Cody and Dalton have been lifetime friends so much that Dalton even performed Cody’s wedding ceremony for him. A kind heart and a love for all things redneck makes Cody one of the best friends you could have.
Bridesmaid
Sydney quickly became an important part of Taylors Life at Slippery Rock. From the first sorority carnival, we both knew that from that moment we would be friends no matter what. Then when Taylor was given a bid for the same sorority, the fate was set. Sydney and Taylor were picked as a big and little pair. From that moment on, their friendship grew. Soon to be roommates and besties for the rest of time!
Groomsman
From Football at the youth, HS, and College level to High school, Intramural, and YMCA basketball, Ethan has been Dalton’s teammate more than anyone else. The two lived together for 4 years at Grove City always having a countdown of how much longer they had left not realizing how fast it would go by. Dalton was happy Ethan agreed to be part of another team for the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Tabitha and Taylor met freshman year of college when they shared a double dorm. They quickly became very close! Spending time going on town walks, frat parties, and just hanging out! Before Taylor made the transfer, they were supposed to room together but this quickly changed to summer drives to see each other and see new things! The friendship they formed has had to change but still remains an important one!
Groomsman
Dalton and Dalton (OR Double D’s) were friends before, but nothing could have prepared them for their time as roommates. Bly and Dalton struck a deal for Dalton to move in with Bly in the beginning of February 2020. After quickly getting sent into lockdown the two spent more time together than needed and friction grew but everyone knows that is what either makes or breaks you. In this case it made them and they continue to be best friends despite both having new roommates.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Taylor were both brought into a very large friend group by their significant others. This friend group has been forming for a while. With this being said, Hannah and Taylor quickly realized that having a close friend in the group that doesn't share the same stories would be the best. Their friendship quickly formed and continues to grow!
Groomsman
Did you know Reese and Dalton are kinda related? A fun fact that the two shared with many people after finding out their grandparents were cousins (a common thing for anyone from Chicora). Despite Dalton being an east side Chicora kid and Reese being from the west side these two found mutual ground. Meaning they would meet in the middle at Friedmans to get snacks before going to the others house to hangout. Reese and Dalton always hung out a lot in HS and College but they continue to still see each other a lot… mostly because Taylor and Hannah have each other's phone numbers!
Bridesmaid
Makala is married to Cory, the best man. Makala and Taylor actually knew each other before Taylor and Dalton met. Makala and Taylor lived right next to each other at slippery rock! They did not talk a lot other than talking when they saw each other. Since Taylor started dating Dalton, they have grown to be closer and formed a friendship! Which dealing with two Callihan boys, we need all the help and wine we can get!
Groomsman
Oddly enough Nathan is the person Dalton has known the shortest amount of time out of his Groomsman. After moving back into the school district in the 10th grade from Montour (you will only hear him be called Sparta all night), Dalton and Nathan became friends while being 2 of the 3 players to be on the Offensive and Defensive line through HS football. Their senior year there was a 0% chance you beat them at the ‘Aggression drill’ and a 100% chance they got a perfect score on any quiz in their College Prep English class. Nathan continues to be a “if you need a hand call me” friend.
