**An update on our wedding in light of COVID-19** We are excited to announce that we will still be getting married on June 6th as planned, but we have decided to have a more intimate setting and are only inviting our bridal party and immediate family members. We are disappointed that we won't be able to celebrate our marriage with all of you but wish you the best health during this time. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement during this time. Trace and Callie met during their freshman year at Lee University through other mutual friends. We quickly became friends even though Callie had a boyfriend when she met Trace. Eventually Callie and that boyfriend broke up and soon after that, we became each other's best friends-- and the rest was history. We were the classic guy/ girl best friend couple who were the only ones who didn't know they liked each other and didn't appreciate when our friends would try to clue us in. Fun fact about us: we actually broke up for 9 months after we dated the first time. Both of us were heartbroken and had an exceptionally hard time while we tried to move on. We don't shy away from this fact, however, because it has actually become a beautiful detail in the story of our relationship's redemption. Eventually we got back together and worked very hard to restore our relationship and create a new relationship. We are incredibly thankful that the Lord redeemed our relationship and hope that our relationship can be an inspiration to couples like us. The two of us couldn't be more excited to celebrate the story of our redemption with our closest friends and family in June and are so thankful for the wisdom and support they have provided for us during this season of our life! 💛
