FAQs

The Wedding Website of Calland Manning and Ed Lee
Please feel free to call or text either of us with any questions at all! Here are a few below.
Question

What is the wedding dress-code?

Answer

We've chosen black tie optional! Please feel free to wear gowns and tuxes or cocktail dresses and suits! Most importantly - make sure you can dance and be comfy in your outfit! The wedding does include some indoor and outdoor portions, so please dress appropriately. We will have standing heaters for partial areas outdoors, but we can't predict how cold or warm it will be - New Orleans weather can be just as whacky as Houston's!

Question

Are we able to bring our children?

Answer

We adore our family and friend's children - however, we have opted for a wedding evening young kiddo-free (unless otherwise specified in your invitation/part of the wedding party.) We want our ceremony to be an honoring environment to the vows we are making, and we want our reception to be a party atmosphere where everyone gets to kick back and have a good time bringing in the new year together. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will enjoy your care free weekend with us!

Question

Will transportation be provided to the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes - if you are staying at the hotels we have room blocks with. Please see travel page for that information!

Question

Is everyone invited to the welcome reception on Saturday evening?

Answer

Yes! This is not a rehearsal dinner or wedding party only - we hope everyone joining us for the weekend will come kick off the celebration Saturday evening. This will be a casual open bar setting in a ballroom of the hotel - family friendly, everyone is invited! Please see Events tab for more information.
