Question

How does COVID testing work for travel to Guatemala?

Answer

Per the most recent Guatemala Tourism Board guidelines: "Foreigners must meet both of the following requirements: 1. Provide proof of negative test: Antigen or PCR in a laboratory certified by the respective country, no more than 3 days prior to the checkpoint or entry to Guatemalan territory (applies only to people 10 years of age or over). The 3 days are counted from the date of the test to the date and time of the check-in or entry. 2. Provide proof of vaccination (2 doses) or one dose for Johnson&Johnson vaccine; regardless of the vaccine, the last dose must have been administrated with a minimum of 2 weeks before starting the trip." ***See the Travel tab for information about how to arrange COVID testing in Antigua***
