Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is a 50 acres, botanical garden in Henrico County; a 15 minute car ride from The John Marshall. It features over a dozen themed gardens, a conservatory, library, and café. Regular daily admission is $17 for adults, $14 for seniors, $8 for children, under age 3 are free. This was a potential venue location for our wedding!

Monument Avenue is a tree-lined grassy mall dividing the eastbound and westbound traffic in Richmond, Virginia, originally named for its emblematic complex of structures honoring those who fought for the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Today, only one monument remains standing (Arthur Ashe), however the road still boasts beautiful homes and lovely foliage.
