Please RSVP under the RSVP tab on this website by September 1st- at the latest September 15th.
Since it is 90 minutes south of the twin cities and on a Friday, it would be best to plan to be at JRs barn by 4pm so you can be seated & ready to go when the ceremony starts at 4:30.
There is a huge parking lot on the site of the venue. You are also able to keep your vehicle there if need be until the next morning. If you are bringing any sort of camper, the parking lot is where you will park it.
Yes, we are providing a shuttle bus from the hotel to the venue and back to the hotel when the night is finished. This will leave you worry free about transportation. The last bus will be leaving the designated hotel at 3:30 to make it to the venue by 4:00 for the ceremony at 4:30. The bus will then bring everyone back to the designated hotel at the end of the night.
While we love your little ones, outside of our nieces & nephews, we’ve decided to keep our wedding & reception an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy the night out. Please reach out if you have any questions.
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited space. We can only allow the people named on the invitations- with a plus one if provided under RSVP.
If the weather permits, the ceremony will be outside on site at the barn. Cocktail hour, dinner and dance will be held inside the barn.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a dressy/casual dress code.
Since it will be October with the ceremony outside on grass, we recommend you plan accordingly.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride. Whites/ ivory’s/ creams.
We are having an ‘unplugged’ ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones/ cameras are put away/off during the ceremony. Why? We hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture the most important moments & would regret having a well-meaning persons phone/ device blocking that moment. After the ceremony please feel free to take as many pictures as you want to look back and remember a great night.
