Question

What are some outdoor activities I should check out if I'm staying in the area for the whole weeked?

Answer

Nearby Hikes: Goat Trail and Hawksbill Crag: Awesome hikes about 1 hr 30 min away from Eureka Springs and from Fayetteville. Hawksbill Crag has a steep dirt road. Goat Trail is steep initially, so pack plenty of water for the June heat. Lost Valley: Similar distance, generally easier hike with creeks, waterfalls after rain and a cave to explore. Swimming Holes and Easy Hikes: Kings River Falls/Natural Area: A swimming hole about an hour away with a flat, easy hike to the swimming area. Steel Creek Campground (Ponca): Cool swimming spot on the Buffalo River, if water levels permit. Lake Atalanta and Lake Fayetteville: Cool nature trails for easier hikes in NWA. NWA Botanical Gardens: Scenic walking trails. Osage Park Wetlands: Nature preserve with boardwalks, great for leisurely walks and photos. This is where we took our engagement photos! These options provide a mix of challenging hikes and relaxing outdoor experiences suitable for various preferences and fitness levels.
