We’re getting married!

We met on the first day of school in 4th grade. We were in the same class and never would we have thought this meeting would result in a marriage. It wasn’t until high school that we became friends during cooking class and government. We think what solidified our strong connection was Caleb beating me in monopoly at school and after seeing I was upset, admitting that he cheated by stealing money from the bank. Since that day we have maintained a friendship until moving home from our colleges and began dating. I think after one week of being together we knew this was it. We could not be happier to share our love with all of you at our wedding.

In December I began expecting that the question would be popped soon. I had a dress packed and ready in my car the entire month “just in case”. Caleb told me we were going to his aunt’s house for a birthday party so I got all dressed up. Once we arrived I soon realized there was no party, it was just us. He walked us to the backyard where the gazebo that his grandfather built with just a handsaw was covered in lights and candles. He got down on one knee and got one sentence out before I said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Lorena!
