Cameron and Rachel met at Oregon State University in September 2019. Rachel hopped over Cameron's fence one day to meet up with his roommate. Rachel and Cameron were introduced over some margaritas and the rest is history. Cameron was the second person Rachel met in Corvallis, and they became inseparable. They started officially dating in December 2019. Between then and now, they have made many memories and shared lots of fun experiences from living in Memphis, Hawaii, Oregon, San Diego, getting a cat, and road tripping all through Canada. They are excited to take on the world together and cannot wait for the next part of their journey.

Cameron and Rachel were on their summer trip to Christina Lake, British Colombia. Before leaving for the trip, Cameron knew he would be proposing during this time together. They were at the Bridges's family lake cabin, he had the ring, and all that was needed was the perfect situation to propose and surprise Rachel. Cameron decided the proposal would happen out on the dock with the background of the lake behind them, making the whole thing picture perfect. However, he needed to get Rachel out on the dock without suspision and in a cute outfit. Heidi, Cameron's mother suggested that everyone dress to do annual Christmas card photos out on the dock. After many photos with the family, it was finally Rachel and Cameron's turn to take a couple's photo. Just as the photo was about to be taken, Cameron got down on one knee and asked for Rachel's hand in marriage. In classic Rachel fashion, she was so excited that she lunged forward to jump into Cameron's arms and almost knocked the ring into the lake. Luckily, Cameron kept his grip on the ring and was able to place it on Rachel's finger.
