We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was first semester sophomore year, new to a social club formally known as “B Frat”, and both Caity and Matt were excited for the year ahead with their friends. It was three weeks into the pledging process and Caity, along with the rest of the pledges, kept hearing the mysterious name “Moose”. Unbeknownst to her, “Moose” was in South Bend with his team barely breaking 80, oblivious to the fact that his best friend and future wife was anxiously awaiting to meet the mysterious “Moose”. Moose was finally able to make an appearance at his first meeting on October 3rd. Their interests were mutually peaked: Is that a mustache? Why is he wearing a Brady Quinn Browns Jersey? How did I not see her freshman year? How can I start a conversation with her? Once some of these questions were answered, it was a rare sight to see Matt and Caity not more than an arm’s length away from each other. Nearly everything one liked to do, the other did as well, whether that be attending Georgetown basketball games or sharing a good meal. And if not, they lied (5:30 am workouts or walks across DC) so they could spend even more time with each other. It was in these beginning stages of the relationship when a friend of Caity’s brother, Mike, said that “he had never met two people that genuinely enjoy spending time with each other as much as Matt and Caity do.” As the relationship continued to develop, Caity and Matt (as with so many nights before) found themselves together at the infamous Rhino Bar and Pump House. It was in this fateful night that Matt looked across the bar at Caity and said to himself, “I am going to marry this girl regardless of what it takes and what challenges we may be faced with.” Shortly after, Matt asked Caity on their first date to Rosa Mexicano and their relationship formally began. Nearly 6 years later, Matt and Caity are still inseparable, they are best friends, and they continue to experience life, the world, and all its treasures together.
