I have been attending Westgate Memorial Baptist church since the third grade, but Colton and I's paths did not cross until the summer of 2013. I truly believe in God's perfect timing. Colton and I both attended Awana's bible club every Wednesday in middle school and Vacation Bible School every summer, and yet we both don't remember each other. The youth group was getting ready to leave for a summer July morning in 2013 when I first noticed Colton. The moment I laid eyes on him, I had the thought, "I don't know who he is, but I have a feeling I need to get to know him. I feel like he could be someone special in my life." I know that was God working in His wonderful ways. Over the next year, we became the best of friends. Two years later, we decided it was time to have a conversation about where we felt like God was leading us. When I explained to Colton that I wouldn't be ready to start dating for another year or two, he looked straight into my eyes and said, "I will wait for you as long as I have to." A year and a half later, November 7th, 2015, we officially started dating. Before we were boyfriend and girlfriend, we were best friends. To this day, Colton is still my best friend. We have been able to grow together, learn how to love selflessly, and the importance of having Christ be the center of our relationship. Colton and I have strong personalities, yet we balance each other perfectly. We knew very early on in our relationship that we would get married, but we wanted to graduate college first. Together we have pushed each other to reach all of the goals we have set. Not a day goes by that I don't feel loved, protected, and supported. Being loved by Colton has been the biggest blessing in my life, and I can not wait to start the next chapter of our life together as husband and wife.

Caitlyn and I met 7 years ago when we were going to church camp trip. When I first saw Cait I could only think, “Wow, she’s super pretty.” But I knew for a fact she was way out of my league. On that trip, Cait and I became the best friends. I never knew that our friendship would turn into so much more. Over the next year, me and Cait grew significantly in our friendship. On a mission trip to Orlando in 2014, I decided it was time to let her know how I felt. On July 4th we finally found time to talk and after what felt like an eternity before I mumbled those short words that said, “I like you” and as she started to say those words back I could feel my heart start to beat out of my chest. A year and a half later we officially started dating. As the years went by and we've grown up, our relationship has grown with us. I knew God had placed Caitlyn into my life when He knew I needed her. She has been my best friend since the day I met her at church camp 7 years ago. I can talk to her about anything and everything. She will always listen attentively with no judgment. Caitlyn is the kindest and most loving person I know. God has truly blessed her with the gift of compassion. She loves others and puts them before herself. That is just one characteristic that made me fall in love with her. She is the type of person that would drop anything to help when she is needed. God has truly blessed me with a best friend and life partner. Caitlyn and I have a very special relationship. Cait and I love each other to death, but we love to pick on each other. A quote I love is “the ones you love the most are the ones you drive the craziest." No one can drive Caitlyn crazier than me, and no one can drive me crazier than Caitlyn, but we both know still love eachother. I may pick on Caitlyn a lot (maybe too much), but I would give up my life for her. Caitlyn Urban is the love of my life and I can't wait to make her my forever and always.
