We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was a "beautiful" April day in Maine. We met at the beach in Ogunquit to go on a walk. We spent hours walking the beach and exploring the sand dunes. Finding treasures from a recent storm, we quickly merged her love of surprise and his love of the natural world. It was so cold we eventually went back to his car and chatted for a while longer. There was a sense of calm in that car and they both felt like this was different. Chatting led to sushi dinner and the night couldn't end there. We went back to the beach and watched the stars and the rest is history.

We canoed to our camping spot on a lake in Rangley, Maine and Pierce had been awfully protective of his tackle bag. We just laid down in the hammock to continue reading our way through the Harry Potter series (thanks Coivd) and before we knew it had eaten an entire bag of Utz Party Mix. He was insistent on lunch shortly after (note the ENTRE BAG of party mix), but she wouldn't budge from the hammock. Moments later, it became clear why he was so protective of that tackle bag, as he got down on one knee.
