Julie and Caitlin met in 2015 when Caitlin started working at FOX43 in York, PA. Julie was (and still is) the morning executive producer at 43 and their friendship grew as they worked together. From getting balloon animal hats at Primanti Bros, to attending Hershey Bears games, to eating Outback Steakhouse at Julie's apartment, to going out to the infamous Fat Daddy's, Julie has been a great friend to Caitlin through thick and thin. Even though they haven't lived in the same state for 6 years, Caitlin and Julie constantly check in on each other, and Julie is always there for Caitlin when she needs her. Caitlin is so happy that Julie will be standing by her side at her wedding!
Kadee DeCourley

Kadee and Caitlin met at KY3 in 2017. Kadee was the Branson, Missouri, bureau reporter and Caitlin was the Harrison, Arkansas, bureau reporter. Caitlin was lonely living in Harrison, as the number of people close to her age in town could be counted on one hand. But Kadee changed all that when she asked Caitlin to hang out one weekend. Their first friend date was to see "A Simple Favor" in theaters (which Caitlin still finds to be an incredibly odd movie). Their friendship continued to grow as they tried to beat Kadee's husband at Dr. Mario, and hung out at Kadee's parent's lake house. Kadee is the reason Caitlin moved to Kansas City, as Kadee took her there to visit one weekend, and Caitlin fell in love with the city (and later with Phillip). Caitlin is delighted to have Kadee be there on her big day!
Krista Johnson

Krista and Caitlin met in 2020 when Caitlin moved to Kansas City and started working for a franchisee of both Wendy's and Pizza Hut. A few months in, they started going to lunch together and discovered they liked each other! Their friendship was solidified even more when Krista decorated Caitlin's desk at work with pictures of The Real Housewives for her birthday. Krista and Caitlin have been on many fun adventures, from going to the Taylor Swift concert, to watching Scandoval unfold on Vanderpump Rules at a local bar. Caitlin is excited to have many more fun adventures with Krista in the future, including having Krista as a bridesmaid at her wedding!
Mike Jones
Best Man
Mike and Phillip met in 2017 when Phillip started working at Overland Park Racquet Club. Their first encounter was when Phillip would hide behind the curtains when Mike came looking for someone who could help him with the 4–6-year-olds in red ball. The friendship actually started when Mike asked Phillip to go to a theatre downtown to watch "Free Solo." The relationship really started flourishing when Mike later asked Phillip to go to a Dillon Francis concert. Phillip had no idea who Dillon Francis was (he thought he sounded like the name of a country singer) but excitedly said yes because he wanted to hang out with Mike. Turns out, Dillon Francis is an electronic dance music DJ. This concert led to many other concerts with Mike. Mike later moved to Minneapolis, but Phillip and Mike have remained close friends, and he knows that Mike is always there for him, including on his wedding day.
Matt Piorier

Matt and Phillip first met at a Saturday NOTO (King of the Court) pickleball group in 2020. Phillip did not know many pickleball people before this NOTO, and now many of them are great friends in Phillip's life, including Matt. From that first NOTO where Phillip hit a ball that ricocheted off the net and into Matt's face, their friendship grew to Matt and Phillip having strong margaritas after a long day at a pickleball tournament. Phillip is blessed to have Matt in his life as a great person and friend who he always has a great time with and is happy to have standing next to him on his big day.
Michael Locklear

Michael and Phillip met when Phillip was the early age of 0. Phillip does not remember their first interaction, but he believes it went well. Phillip always looked up to Michael as they were growing up as Michael was 3 years older than him. As Phillip would go through school, many teachers had a favorable view of Phillip because he was Michael's younger brother. Phillip and Michael have grown closer as they have gotten older, and Phillip is grateful to have Michael as his brother, friend, and now groomsman who he knows loves him very much.
