We met when moving our brothers into their dorm room in 2012. It wasn't until the summer of 2014 that we reconnected and went on the best first date to the Pig & Whistle in Manhattan. On the way home, we got stuck on the train in the East River tunnel for 2 hours! The rest is history...

Nick's Perspective: Cait was violently hungover, and I was violently nervous. My Dad had done a good job of making sure that Cait thought he was just sending us on another one of his excursions. We got into the city, and my nerves flew away once Cait looked at the South Tower pool and said "I wonder how they get all the water in there?" At that moment, I knew she had no idea what was about to happen. Then I saw a metal detector and freaked out a little. Thankfully we were in good hands and bypassed security. We got to the top of the Freedom Tower, and all Cait said was "Wow, this is the room from a scene in the Undoing!" As well as being enamored with that fact that Beyoncé attended a party there. As she was staring at Lady Liberty, I got on one knee and after that I can't recall anymore because I blacked out. It was the best day of my life! Cait's Perspective: As Nick mentioned, I was on the tail end of a hangover from one of my best friend's wedding. I wanted nothing more than to sit in a dark room and watch Friends. Reluctantly, I agreed to go on a tour of the Freedom Tower. Looking back, I should have had a million questions; like why my brother would DRIVE into the city on a Sunday to pick us up from Penn Station? They got me good. Everything that Nick mentioned above is how it went down. When I heard my brother's fiancé giggling behind me, I turned around to find Nick on one knee. After he proposed, I kept repeating, "Do I have to go to work tomorrow?" It's funny when you've envisioned how an event would go so many times before, but then when it happens, it's better than you could've ever imagined!
