There are many restaurants in downtown and old city Annecy along the canals and streets such as Rue Saint Claire, Quai de l'Evêché, Rue Grenette. As August is popular month for tourists, we suggest making reservations. Note that most restaurants close between lunch and dinner.
Annecy has many stores, start on Rue Sommeiller and wander around the many side streets to the different shops.
The Annecy market runs year-round every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday between 7 am and 1 pm along the Rue Saint Claire.
