There are many things to do in Annecy and the surrounding areas, here are a few recommendations. We recommend making lunch/dinner reservations prior to your arrival.

August is the perfect time to take advantage of the warm weather and swim in Lake Annecy. There are several public beaches around the lake, such as Plage d'Albigny and Plage de l'Impérial, where you can relax and cool off. Engage in water sports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and sailing on the lake. If you'd prefer to stay dry, options to tour the lake include boat cruises, biking along the trails beside the lake, or simply strolling the lakeside promenade. The stunning views of the mountains and the water are sure to leave you mesmerized.
