Question
What is the transportation for the wedding events?
Answer
Friday night dinner is in the town of Annecy and walkable from the Splendid and most of the hotels/airbnbs in the area. Saturday, the first shuttle will depart from the Splendid hotel at 3:00pm for anyone wanting to go early to tour the castle. The second and final shuttle will depart the Splendid hotel at 4:00pm to bring remaining guests to the castle where the ceremony will start at 4:45pm. There will be tours of the castle during the cocktail hour as well. The shuttles back to the splendid will begin to depart the castle at 11pm and will continue in shifts until 2am.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The Friday night welcome party dress code is dressy casual. Ideas for attire include a dress shirt and pants (jacket optional, no ties, no jeans) for men and sundresses, cocktail dresses, or jumpsuits for women. The wedding dress code is cocktail. Ideas for attire include suits (with a tie, can be light or dark color, light summer-y suits preferred) for men and midi to full length dresses for women, color encouraged. The Château grounds have steep hills, so we suggest bringing comfortable shoes to change into if needed.

Children are not invited to the wedding events including the ceremony, reception, and afterparty.

Other things we should know about traveling to France?
Answer
Reminder to bring outlet adapters, as Europe does not have the same outlets as the US. Additionally, Dyson products such as hairdryers or air-wraps may get ruined if used with a European outlet. Don't forget your passports!!!
