“We’re getting Married!!!”

The story on how we met is almost movie like, what they call a “cute” meaning in how the main characters met. We are both security guards at a casino, I was working a Gary Allen concert, and Keith had just started that day. I was asked to make sure he knew where he needed to be and what he had to do. Anyways, I went to go check in after a few minutes, something told me to go over to him and make sure he was doing good. Keith replied, “You know, I was just thinking about how long you’ve been on my mind, and realized that you never left.” He made me blush. I had just gotten out of a real bad relationship, and I wasn’t by any means looking for someone. But everything just clicked. We had talked for a while gone on a few dates and he finally asked me to be his girlfriend, given my parents were completely against a relationship so soon; but everything felt right. We moved in together after about a year and I was so excited about this new adventure. About a year later I got to experience the knowledge of being around a teenager, Keith had just won full custody of his daughter Kayla. She had been thru a lot, she is an incredibly smart young lady, big hearted and will do anything for you. Don’t get me wrong with a teenager it is a huge learning curve and can be stressful. But I had to grow up a lot with this learning curve. But Keith helped me and Kayla too. I look forward to being a step mom to her and her recent new addition little Waylon! I’m so proud of Keith and the strides he has done for his family and working to make sure that my parents knew how much he loves me and how much he takes care of me. He has done that for 6 plus years and as everyone knows, every relationship has its speed bumps, but it’s worth it for the ones you truly love. Keith and I are definitely that couple that has each others back and tell each other when we overstep on something. I love you Keith Kuykendall, and I look forward to being Caitlin Kuykendall and starting our big future together.
