At formal events, guests usually wear either a suit & tie or gown past the knee. Since our wedding is taking place in a garden in late summer, lighter fabrics, brighter colors, and higher hemlines are all appropriate. If there's a light-colored or linen suit or a backless gown languishing in your closet, then this is the moment! That being said, your comfort and self-expression are our priority - we want you to show up feeling like yourself. Please note that although there is a dance floor, the ceremony and reception are taking place on grass, so please choose your shoes accordingly.
