Q. What time is the ceremony, and when should guests start to arrive?

Answer

A. The ceremony will promptly start at 5:30, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to find a seat by the designated gazebo.

Q. What happens in the event of inclement weather?

Answer

A. The ceremony would take place inside the Sayen House in the location the groom & bride desire.

Q. Is the Sayen House Handicapped Accessible? Do the venue have an elevator?

Answer

A. Yes. The Sayen House is handicapped accessible with a 2-person elevator in the back of the house. The bathroom however, is not.

Q. If there is a guest that is Handicapped, do they have to walk to the house?

Answer

A. No. You may have someone drop them off in front of the house using the access road. After your event, they may be picked up in the same manner.

Q. Where can the guests park?

Answer

A. The guests may park in the Sayen Gardens parking lot or along Hughes Drive.

Q. Does the Sayen House have heat and air conditioning?

Answer

A. Yes.

Q. Is smoking permitted at the house?

Answer

A. The guests may smoke on the front/back porch of the Sayen House where a cigarette butt receptacle is provided.

Q. Can I throw, rice, confetti, bird seed, rose petals or light sparklers after the ceremony?

Answer

A. Sadly no. For the safety of others and the botanical gardens, please refrain using the above. Bubbles are an acceptable option.

Q. Is the Sayen House convenient to public transportation?

Answer

A. Yes. The Hamilton Train Station is located at 800 Sloan Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Their main phone number is 1-973-275-5555 and the parking garage’s direct number is (609) 584-7703.

Q. If I have a food allergy or sensitivity, who do I contact?

Answer

A. Any food restrictions and/or allergies, please contact Caitlin so that she may reach out to the caterer to make sure there is a plate set aside for you!
