Cara is Cait’s best friend and Maid of Honor; they questionably spend too much time together where friends say they even talk the same. She can consider herself responsible for this wedding as she is the one that encouraged Gavin to actually talk to Cait. Although we love her, her love for sparkles and 10 year old rescue chihuahuas is questionable. We hope she doesn’t notice the absence of Taylor Swift on the playlist.
Ted Dowd
Best Man
Ted is Gavin’s oldest brother and Best Man. He is best known for getting low blood sugar when tasks are given out by Big Kev. Ted loves his random facts; his greatest fun fact is that he is the only Dowd brother to never be “suspended”! Good job Ted! Live a little!
Patrick McGowan
Officiant
Pat is one of Gavin's childhood best friends. We believe he will be walking to and from the wedding as he believes that is the superior form of transportation. Going forward, please only refer to him as THE Reverend. We hope his new title doesn’t stop him from showing off his notorious dance skills (think of Will Ferrell dancing on the table in the mail room in the movie Elf).
Will Dowd
Groomsman
Will is Gavin’s “different” brother. There is truly nobody else in the world quite like Will. He has over 15 very silly tattoos on his body and also loves to tell you about his political views or that he’s a lawyer. Despite his quirkiness, he has the busiest social calendar and typically can only hangout with us on a Wednesday in 6 months between 5pm and 6pm, otherwise he’s fully booked a year out.
Nate Dowd

Nate is Gavin’s youngest brother and had the pleasure of sharing a room with him until college! Growing up Nate was an absolute treat to be around, but as he got older, he got too handsome to associate with us. He is also well known in the Dowd house for being a real entrepreneur! Ask him about his latest business venture.
Patrick McTiernan

The little brother to Cait, Pat finally got the older brother he never wanted when Cait met Gavin. It was even worse than he could have imagined. He recently came back from a 6 month backpacking trip in Europe and Southeast Asia and has now adopted this as his entire personality. We wouldn’t suggest standing next to him at the Mediterranean station or you might get a comment like “the gyros in Mykonos are just so much better.”
Anthony Miraglia

Anthony (Tony) is Gavin’s childhood best friend. Tony refers to himself as the “Italian Stallion” because of his good looks and charm. Although he may be a little short, Tony is a really good basketball player… ask him about how he’s “still hot from Calhoun.”
Mark Marciano
Groomsman
Mark is Gavin’s childhood best friend. They have played every sport imaginable together and have gotten into some trouble both on and off the field (#FreeTheBoys). Mark is notoriously competitive and we please ask that nobody challenges him (or Gavin) to any sort of competition on September 7th as we do not have liability insurance at the venue.
Andy LaPlante

Andy is Gavin’s best friend since elementary school. They share a life sentence of being miserable Mets fans. We’re not pointing fingers, but Andy’s birthday is January 6th and he has been known to celebrate pretty big.
Christopher Liggio
Groomsman
Christopher aka Ligg is Gavin’s college roommate. Ligg could be considered Gavin’s most handsome friend because he is way taller than Tony. Don’t let the good looks fool you, he did once allow his dog to give birth to 13 puppies in a college football house.
Christian Sullivan
Groomsman
Christian aka Sully is Gavin’s college roommate. Gavin and Sully bonded over battles in the football trenches, but Sully was always confident they would make it out. Confidence is one thing, but imagine naming your dog after yourself? (Sully can, his dog’s name is Sully.)
Jake Lareau

Jake is Gavin’s college roommate. He is definitely the nicest one out of the bridal party and we’re not exactly sure why he still tolerates Gavin after all these years. Rumor has it that Jake stuck around because Gavin pays him with New York bagels.
Isabel Ryan

Isabel and Cait have been friends since preschool. They have been “dangerous” together since the lady snow leopard days. You can often find them commiserating together about how Gavin and Pat are going to leave them for each other.
Nicole Zorbaci

Nicole (Nik) is Cait's older cousin (and ex-coworker) and the closest thing to a sister she has. They are (un)lucky enough to share some Carroll DNA, and have been confused for each other in the past. As they’ve gotten older, they have grown even closer and share a bond closer to best friends than cousins.
Kim Zurita
Bridesmaid
Kim is Cait’s older cousin, and as they’ve gotten older they have been known to enjoy one (or two) of Oliver’s famous mojitos together. Kim is quoted as stating she has “never had a hangover”… we’ll have to check in on her on September 8th to see if that statement is still true.
Meaghan Linhart
Bridesmaid
Meaghan has been both Gavin and Cait’s close friend for many years, although Meaghan and Gavin hold a special bond as Williston Park pool alumni. There have been allegations that Meaghan has signed checks as “Meaghan Dowd.” Although we firmly believe in innocent until proven guilty, she is our biggest concern for objection during the ceremony.
Michelle Ciofalo

Michelle started as Cait’s coworker but quickly became a close friend for almost 10 years. When they weren’t covered in sugar at the bakery they were known to be frequent flyers at a few locations in Rockville Centre. Things have slowed down a bit since Michelle became a MILF but we’re hoping that on September 7th, when the kids are away (at grandma’s), the moms (Michelle) will play!
