FAQs

The Wedding Website of Caitlin Cutright and Carson McDonald
Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

YES! There will be parking to the side of the Buena Vista Mansion past the front lawn!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Carson and I have a registry at Target and Amazon, but gift cards to home improvement stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot would be great as well.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 7th! You can scan the QR code and it will bring you to our RSVP page on our website or send us an email at themcdonaldwedding2023@yahoo.com.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 sharp!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

The attire at our wedding is cocktail. Cocktail is between formal and casual. For men you are more than welcomed to wear a suit and tie, but khaki/ dark jeans and a nice button down would be perfect as well! For women it’s simple, a midi, tea length, or knee length dress would be perfect.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would love the photos!! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like that time to be unplugged and as intimate as possible. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage our guests to post pictures, so we can look back on them as well!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you will be able to join us on our special day! With your formal invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to let us know your plans right here on our website!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes!!

Question

What is the money dance?

Answer

The money dance is also called the dollar dance or apron dance. The money dance is popular among many cultures, especially in the Puerto Rican community. In order to do the money dance, male guests line up in front of the bride to pin money on her dress while women pin money on the groom. In exchange you dance with each other. Keep in mind that this may take a bit of time if there are a lot of dancers, and guests take turns dancing with the bride and groom. With that being said, if you would love to participate in this activity please bring money.
