We're Getting Married!

Anyone who knows Austin knows that he's not the planning type, so his proposal was extra special! Over Memorial weekend 2021, we went to the Buckhorn Bike Rally. Austin went down a day ahead of me to get things set up. When I got down there, he told me that he had bought us raffle tickets to win a new Harley Dyna. Later that night, we were down by the stage listening to the band, and he said he was running to grab us drinks. A few minutes later, the band called out my name and asked me to come on stage. I was confused at first, but then I thought we had won the Harley!! I got up on the stage, and the band had me wait on the drum platform while they played another song. After it was done, they brought me up to the front, then they called Austin up to the stage. I turned around to look for him, and he came walking out on stage with a different shirt on than he'd been wearing. The minute I read it, I burst into tears! He had t-shirts made at one of the vendors that said "Mr. and Mrs. Garrett! He took the microphone and told me that I'd changed his life and I was the woman of his dreams. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to spend my life with him in front of 2,000 people! Of course, I said yes!! He made it so memorable!
