It is a cute, small town located not too far from Charlottesville!
We wanted a venue that reflects us as a couple. We met at Longwood University which is located in the heart of Virginia, Farmville. Some of our favorite memories together were made in that sweet, small town. We wanted our wedding to have the same feeling!
Since our ceremony will start at 11:30am, the attire is more casual. Ladies, a dress with a nice wrap to keep you warm will be fine. If you plan to wear heels, make sure your heels are on the thicker side since we will mostly be outdoors. Fellas, a sportscoat will be appropriate. Tie is optional. Our wedding colors are deep/emerald green, navy blue with neutral accents such as tan, grey and champagne. If you would like to match our colors, you are more than welcome!
No worries! We are keeping our wedding intimate, therefore, moving the ceremony inside is easy to accommodate.
Expect to have a great time! We want our wedding to feel like a celebration that happens to also be well, a wedding! Plan to dance, laugh, cry and most of all celebrate love.
Yup. There is a small parking lot available located on the right as you drive up to the manor.
Yes! We will have designated smoking areas for our guests on the deck. Greenock is a drug free property, so we ask that our guests respect their policy.
There is a QR code on your invitation. Please utilize the code to RSVP. If you are unsure how to do so, you can simply reach out to either the bride or groom to let us know if you can make it.
To ensure all of our guests are truly enjoying themselves and having a fun time, we kindly request the ceremony and reception both be child free
Yes and no...we will be offering an open bar of wine and beer. Greenock Manor does not allow couples to serve liquor, however, if you would like to bring your own you are more than welcome to!
We are having a local Mexican restaurant catering. They will be serving appetizers and entrees for our guests.
