We got engaged on Anna Maria Island on April 29th 2023. This would not have been possible without my maid-of-honor (soon to be matron of honor) Sydney. Sydney and Brenden (her fiancé) braved the storm for Brock and I. As I was walking up to the beach I saw (what I thought was) a older couple huddled up under the cover from the rain. Brock took me down by the water and propsosed. When I turned around and saw Brock down on one knee I also saw Sydney running with her camera down the beach taking pictures. The rain held off while we were down on the beach and it turned out to be a beautiful sunset.
