Important Travel Information
We have recently realized there is a very rare solar eclipse happening the Monday following our wedding. While this is cool and exciting, it turns out that Dripping Springs is a destination for the eclipse, and most hotels and Airbnbs nearby either have been booked or are being booked very quickly. We have secured a second lodging block (noted below), and we are reaching out to urge ALL guests that are planning to attend to book as soon as possible. We understand this is unconventional, but hotels, Airbnbs and really any type of lodging are INCREDIBLY limited. If you plan to attend the wedding, PLEASE book soon. The Bygone in Wimberly, TX is a recently remodeled boutique hotel has a great pool and views of the hill country! We will have a shuttle running from The Bygone to Lucky Arrow for events Friday and Saturday. To book a room at the Bygone, you will need to call them at (512) 887-5986 or email the hotel directly, and let them know that you are booking for the Cait Lower/Jake Bergal Wedding, April 5-7 2024. You will be charged for the room 7 days before April 5. There are many wonderful Airbnbs in Dripping Springs and the surrounding area, and rideshares will be relatively quick and easy to use throughout the weekend. Hotel Flora and Fauna in Wimberley is a great option to consider if The Bygone is full. It is nearby and very cute with a pool in downtown Wimberley, walkable to the Wimberley Arts Market on Saturdays. If you decide to book here, please let us know, and we will coordinate a shuttle stop!

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
The airport is about 45 minutes from Lucky Arrow or The Bygone. We would recommend grabbing a rideshare or coordinating a ride with Austin folks or our families. A rental car isn't required for the weekend, but you are welcome to rent one if that is preferred.

San Antonio Airport
We've heard from several guests that flights and rental cars have been limited in Austin. The San Antonio airport is a great option to consider if you are booking travel, it is only 1 hour and 15 minutes from the venue, and the second hotel block in Wimberly is even closer!

Lucky Arrow Retreat
The location of all wedding events throughout the weekend. As noted above, there are a few yurts available. The yurts have detached (but very nice) bathrooms that are only a short walk, full-length mirrors and record players - the best kind of glamping experience!
