We first crossed paths while playing music together in our college marching band but didn't get much time to chat until standing next to each other in the smaller pep band. We quickly realized how much we had in common and after a few months of becoming friends and showing each other our favorites movies, making new hobbies together, and sharing late night conversations, Brandon finally asked Cait on an official date where he taught her how to ice skate. This date was a lot of fun and we've spent the past many years together continuing to learn more about one another and growing our love. We are excited to make that next move and get married!

Over the years, our favorite adventures together have been camping and hiking around the PNW. Brandon decided to propose at the top of a hike that Caitlin had talked about for over a year at Mount Rainier surrounded by some close friends and family. On the day Brandon originally wanted to propose, the weather was cloudy and cold so we decided to save the fun hike for the following day in case the weather improved. Even if it didn't get better, Brandon knew he would ask Cait the big question at the top of that hike anyway. Luckily, the weather that next day was amazing and the hike was as fun as everyone described. At the top of the mountain was a fire lookout with a clearing and some privacy giving Cait and I the perfect space for a proposal. I asked our group to take some pictures of us and when the time was right I had a chance to get on one knee and propose. Cait was very surprised, happy, and was quick to say yes!
