In 2012, Delray was named USA Today’s Most Fun Small Town in America. Over the last 10 years, it's grown and continues to gain popularity. The lively main street Atlantic Avenue starts at A1A and runs west through town. The Ray is located in one of the city's thriving art districts; just off Atlantic Avenue, Pineapple Grove colorfully blends galleries, murals, and public art alongside bistros and wine bars.
Uber and Lyft are easy and reliable (including to/from both airports), but as long as you're staying at one the recommended hotels or close to Atlantic Ave, you're within walking distance (half mile radius) from everything the town has to offer! The city does offer free golf cart rides via the Freebee app, but we haven't found it to be the most reliable source of transportation.
March and April in Delray Beach are moderately hot spring months, with an average temperature ranging between max 79.2°F and min 72.9°F. The average relative humidity is 73%.
All three hotels have rooftop pools, and there are a lot of rental properties with private pools. If you walk ~a half mile east on Atlantic Ave, you'll run right into the beach! Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. The Ray offers rentable surfboards, paddleboards, and beach cabanas along with complimentary transportation via Moke, golf cart, or beach bike.
We recommend formal attire. The ceremony will be indoors and air conditioned, so we kindly ask all gentlemen to wear a suit & tie. The rest of the evening's events will be held outdoors. Please note most of of the area in the tent is turf, but the dance floor of course will be hard flooring.
