“WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!”

We met in high school during the fall of 2013, I was a cheerleader and he messaged me asking the schedule of the basketball games for that year. We continued talking and he came to every home basketball game we had to watch me cheer. We had our first kiss after one of the basketball games, and the rest is history!

Patrick planned the entire thing, he told me his mom wanted us to have sunset pictures made on the beach the day we got down there. Patrick hid the ring box in the driver door since he drove the whole way there and while I was finishing up getting ready for pictures he went out to the car to "start the car since its hot" and he put the ring box in his pocket. When we were on the beach taking pictures the photographer had me face away from Patrick looking towards the ocean and as I was turned around trying to tame my hair from the wind Patrick called my name and told me to turn around. I was very confused as to why he wanted me to turn around but I went with it, as I was turning around to face him he was down on one knee with tears in his eyes and he asked "Will you marry me?" and I of course said "YES" and we were engaged! Were so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you at Houston's!
