We’re getting married!

Zach and Allie met in graduate school at Central Michigan University in 2019 while starting their Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Allie first caught Zach's eye during orientation when she gave her personal introduction to the cohort. Zach turned to his friend and said "I'm going to get to know that girl," and the rest is history. During college, Zach and Allie enjoyed spending time with their friends in Mount Pleasant. They welcomed their dog Remi in 2020 and graduated with their Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022.

Zach proposed to Allie two months before graduation at Riverwalk Grill in Elk Rapids, MI. This was the place that Zach had first told Allie that he loved her years before. It had been a stressful exam week and Allie thought they were going up north for a weekend getaway. Zach had left the dinner table to use the restroom and was gone for quite some time. The waitress abruptly came to the table and asked if Allie was Zach's girlfriend and stated "you need to come with me right now." We jogged out the front door and around the building to the back where Zach was standing on the deck, over the water, string lights on and pacing (the waitress had forgotten he was outside, he was freezing and nervous). Zach assured Allie that everything was ok, then got down on one knee. She said, Yes! We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception!
