Things To Do

If you're staying a few extra days, there are some great things to do in Temecula and the surrounding area! Here are some of our favorite local wineries, along with other must-see stops when visiting. Most of the wineries also have live music on weekends and some weeknights. So much fun to be had!
Leoness Cellars

Leoness Cellars

38311 De Portola Road, Temecula, CA 92592

Yes, this is our wedding venue! But, they also have the best wine in Temecula! They offer tastings and tours, and their on-site restaurant ranked 5th in the nation for Wine Country Restaurants! Worth a second visit. Or, grab a glass before the wedding! Tasting Room is open until 5PM.

Doffo Winery

Doffo Winery

36083 Summitville Street, Temecula, CA 92592

Doffo has our second-favorite wines in the Temecula Valley! Big focus on bold reds here. Their vineyard is large and secluded. If you're a motorcycle-lover, don't miss this one. All their wines are motorcycle-themed, and they have a large collection of new and vintage motorcycles on display in their tasting room.

Altisima Winery

Altisima Winery

37440 De Portola Road, Temecula, CA 92592

Just down the road from our venue, Altisima has one of the most breathtaking patios in Temecula! Gorgeous vineyard and mountain views! We took our engagement photos here, then enjoyed some fantastic tapas on the terrace from their top-rated restaurant.

Robert Renzoni Winery

Robert Renzoni Winery

37350 De Portola Road, Temecula, CA 92592

If you're looking for that Tuscan feel, Robert Renzoni is a great stop. On the De Portola Wine Trail, and across the street from Altisima, they have a large selection of reds, whites, and sparkling. They also serve tasty wood-fired pizza on their Italian-style patio.

Akash Winery & Vineyard

Akash Winery & Vineyard

39730 Calle Contento, Temecula, CA 92591

This was the first winery we visited after we got engaged! It's ultra-modern, with a large, bright tasting room. They also have an on-site brewery, for those who prefer a beer tasting! Come here for a tasting or bottle, sit out on their multi-level terrace, and take it all in.

Old Town Temecula

Old Town Temecula

Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA 92590

Take a step back in time in Old Town! Rustic western-style buildings, antique shops, local boutiques, and farm-to-table dining. If you're looking for something other than wineries, there is a great craft beer scene here too!

Temecula Olive Oil Company

Temecula Olive Oil Company

28653 Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA 92590

The best fresh-made olive oil, along with some other local Temecula treats. You can buy it there or ship it back to Wisco. Or just stop in for a free tasting!

Old Town Sweet Shop

Old Town Sweet Shop

28545 Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA 92590

Candy, Candy, and more Candy! Huge selection of sweets, including some real throwback favorites, (Lego Candy Blox anyone?). Saltwater taffy fans stop here!

Black Market Brewing Co

Black Market Brewing Co

41740 Enterprise Circle North, Temecula, CA 92590

Located just outside Temecula, in Murrieta. Award-winning craft beers, great big space, and pizza! Be sure to check out the old trolley car converted into a bar!

8 bit Brewing Company

8 bit Brewing Company

26755 Jefferson Avenue, Murrieta, CA 92562

Also in Murrieta, this one's for the gamers. Great beer, (try their IPAs!), plus a full-size old-school arcade. All their brews are video game themed. Super fun spot. And they've got food too!

For all the days along the way
