Where do we park?

Answer

Parking is across the street from the Grain Elevator. If you are coming from Westnedge, parking is on the left hand side right after the railroad tracks. If you are coming from Lovers Lane, it is on the right hand side right before the railroad tracks. Once you park, you can cross the street to the Grain Elevator.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Casual! The building doesn’t have AC but the sides open up so if it’s really warm we’re hoping for a breeze too! There is ceiling fans and we will have other fans around also.

What is the venue like? Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Grain Elevator is located at Celery Flats, a park in Portage, MI. The building will be set up with tables and chairs inside, but there is grassy areas outside and there will be some yard games out.

What is the seating like?

Answer

There is a seating chart that will be right by the entrance with our guest book so check out what table you are at when you arrive! We created a seating chart and went off who RSVP’d. Tables will have around 7-10 people.

When will the reception end?

Answer

Probably around 8-9ish, we have the venue until 10pm but are responsible for take down/putting away tables/chairs and all clean up before we leave.

Answer

The reception will be catered by Pig out on the Fly, we will have pulled pork, beef brisket, Mac n cheese, potato salad and cornbread from them. Also other snacks, appetizers, and lots of drink options.
